Faculty Profile - Barry Neal Fairley
BiographyBarry Fairley has over 30 years of experience in civil, mechanical, and electrical testing and in research, construction, and quality control activities. Mr. Fairley was born and raised in Augusta, Ga., where in 1979 he started his career in the utility industry working in civil quality control at Georgia Power's Vogtle Nuclear Plant. In 1989, he transferred to the Georgia Power Research Center in Forest Park, Ga. where he gained mechanical and electrical testing experience. While working at the Georgia Power Research Center, he attended Clayton State University, taking electrical technology courses and earning a B.B.A. He has worked at NEETRAC since its inception in 1996 in the Mechanical and Electrical Services Sections.
